1. Using this website
You may use this website for your own personal, non-commercial use and to find out about our treatments and services. You agree not to use it for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage the site or affect other users.
2. The website is information, not medical advice
The content on this website is provided for general information only. It is not medical advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for a consultation. Every treatment depends on your individual circumstances, and we will only recommend a treatment after assessing you in person. If you have a medical concern, please speak to us or your GP.
3. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our written permission.
4. Links to other websites
Our website may link to third-party sites, including our online booking system. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites, and a link does not mean we endorse them. Please check their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Availability and accuracy
We aim to keep the website available and the information on it accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee this. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
Part B: Our treatments and services
6. Booking appointments
You can book a consultation or appointment through our online booking system or by contacting the clinic. A booking is only confirmed once you have received confirmation from us.
7. Consultations and suitability
Your treatment journey begins with a consultation. Treatment is always at the clinical discretion of the practitioner. We may decline to provide a treatment, or recommend a different option, if we do not believe it is suitable, safe or in your best interests. If a treatment is not right for you, we will tell you and explain why.
Some of our treatments involve prescription-only medicines. These can only be provided following a face-to-face consultation and assessment by our prescriber, and only where clinically appropriate.
8. Your responsibilities
To keep you safe, you agree to:
- Be aged 18 or over. Our treatments and services are for adults only.
- Give full and accurate information about your medical history, medications, allergies and any changes to your health.
- Follow the pre-treatment and aftercare advice we give you.
- Tell us promptly if you have any concerns following a treatment.
9. Consent
We will explain each treatment, its benefits, risks and alternatives, and answer your questions before you go ahead. You will be asked to give your written informed consent before any treatment. You can change your mind and withdraw consent at any time before treatment begins.
10. Results
We carry out every treatment with reasonable care and skill. However, results vary from person to person and depend on factors we cannot control, including your body’s response. We cannot and do not guarantee any specific result, and some treatments may require more than one session.
11. Prices and payment
Prices are confirmed at your consultation and may change from time to time. The price you are quoted at the time of booking or consultation is the price that applies to that treatment. Payment is due [at the time of treatment / as agreed at your consultation]. We accept [list accepted payment methods].
12. Deposits
We may ask for a deposit of [amount or percentage] to secure your appointment. Your deposit will be [applied to the cost of your treatment / handled as set out here]. Deposits are [refundable or non-refundable, set out which].
13. Cancellations, rescheduling and missed appointments
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please give us at least [24 / 48] hours’ notice.
If you cancel with less than [24 / 48] hours’ notice, do not attend, or arrive more than [15] minutes late so that we cannot complete your treatment safely, we may [retain your deposit / charge a fee of [amount or percentage]].
14. Refunds
This section does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
We do not offer refunds on treatments that have already been provided, as results vary and cannot be guaranteed. If you have paid for a treatment you have not yet received, please contact us to discuss your options. [Set out your policy on courses and prepaid treatments here.]
15. Courses, packages and gift vouchers
[If you sell courses, packages or gift vouchers, set out the terms here, for example whether they are non-refundable, non-transferable, and any expiry date. Remove this section if it does not apply.]
16. Complaints
Your care matters to us. If you are unhappy with any part of your experience, please contact us first so we can put it right. You can reach us using the details below.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you can contact our regulator, Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW).
17. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for any loss that was not foreseeable, or that was caused by you not following the medical, pre-treatment or aftercare advice we gave you.
18. Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Please see our Privacy Policy for details of how we collect and use your personal information.
